Still kind of mild-to-moderate crappy, but not a lot worse, and I'm managing to be in motion. Inertia and momentum -- that's the challenge of the day. Good thing the earth will continue to rotate, so the day will end eventually.

Also, my right elbow hurts like a mutha. It's been bugging me for a couple of weeks now and a bruise seems to be surfacing, from Idontknowwhat. It hurts less to poke at it than to run my fingers softly across the skin, which is really weird. The more I straighten the joint, the more uncomfortable it gets. Picking things up with a "mitten grip" action borders on quite painful...to the point of noticeable weakness and maybe not being able to make my body do it...like when you're picking up a cup of coffee around the mug and not with the handle? Really, almost impossible.

This is not good. Thankfully, ordinary things like driving and typing don't seem to be very uncomfortable, if at all. And a goodly amount of functional ambidexterity means I can accomplish many tasks left-handed. I've got a chiro appointment on Wednesday, so maybe I'll ask her to poke at it for me.

Reminds me of a weird owie I had years ago... turned out I had been setting my elbow weird on the arm rest of the car and it caused some sort of weird bruise-ish thing of a nerve or something. Odd indeed.

That *is* odd. Maybe I'm sleeping strangely? That's be funny: Hey, doc, I think I have a napping injury.

Also. A day rich in typos. Bleurgh.

Maybe you know this, but...

A bruise that surfaces after a few weeks of hurting is often a deep tissue injury. Sometimes those can mean you fractured something and don't know it, which can also cause nerve anomolies like the skin sensation you're talking about. It can also be things like repetitive strain injuries like someone else talked about with the arm rest of their car. But if it hurts that bad, it's probably worth getting it checked out to be sure if it doesn't heal fast from here.

*hugs* Sorry it hurts.

Yeah, those are all possibilities running through my mind too. It's just finally reached the point of duration/increasing discomfort that I figure I'll ask somebody to check it out. I've eliminated most of the ordinary causes...or maybe it's something ordinary that I'm unintentionally not allowing to heal by somehow continuing whatever irritates it, or something. Ice and anti-inflammatory meds are my friends.

Thanks for the hugs. :)

Sorry to hear you aren't back to full speed. And worse, can't properly cradle a tea mug! Disaster, I say. I hope its something easy to remedy (mind you, nothing comes to mind, but I'm feeling blindly optimistic today).
