1. Was married to

agrnmn for nearly two years and still nursing Princess Boredom (who was about 6 months old).
2. Worked part-time as a receptionist at a chiropractor/massage therapist/lesbian natural health center while I studied for my GRE.
3. Was still mourning the necessary sale of my first car, a red Geo Metro.
4. Lived in St. Paul, Minnesota.
5. Had short hair (like Pat Benatar, baby).

1. Lived in Rhode Island, but was in the process of searching for a new job so we could move to Kansas City.
2. Still only had Princess Boredom and no thoughts of having another child, ever.
3. Was a qualified SCA fencer who practiced most days and competed and everything.
4. Still had short hair. Also had fake nails (a brief moment of insanity).
5. Managed on my own two nights a week as

1. Was weaning Princess !Kaboom and swearing not to have another child, ever.
2. Met

triadruid and started actually getting to know

kittenpants and

breathofgold.
3. Turned pirate and started working for a company that wasn't nonprofit.
4. Started growing my hair out.
5. Was praying that we'd be able to buy a home in the spring so we could get the heck out of rental/apartment living.

1. Was thankfully enjoying a relatively healthy Druid October.
2. Thanked my husband for getting a vasectomy.
3. Dedicated to the qualities of Mercy.
4. Marveled that Princess Sticky could be cute just often enough to have survived not only her gestation, but also almost her whole first year.

So far this year, I...
1. Embraced my right not to reproduce anymore by getting a tubal ligation.
2. Went on our first family vacation -- and went to Disneyworld with my folks. Hardly anybody died.
3. Dedicated to the qualities of Severity.
4. Made fun of myself by appearing in ritual as Queen of the Fluffy Bunnies. Did a funny voice, even.
5. Somehow managed to be part of starting an ADF ProtoGrove after nearly seven years of solitary druidry, which still astounds me.

Yesterday, I...
1. Went to bed early and was permitted to sleep nearly through the night.
2. Drank enough water. Amazing the difference that can make!
3. Danced a happy Red Sox dance where nobody could see me
4. Ate cereal for dinner (yum).
5. Lost the rest of the day in a blur.

Today, I...
1. Checked out of the library a ton of books about starting a home-based business.
2. Feel grateful that have a husband who can define "date night" as "each of us doing separate things to make us happy."
3. Finally drove to the bank and spoke to a real person who helped me get a new PIN for my bank card.
4. Wore BDU pants with a cashmere sweater and sexy librarian glasses.
5. Would rather be puttering around at home.

Tomorrow, I...
1. Will wake up with my husband. Yay.
2. Am going to a Pika-Party with the little Princesses, gods save me.
3. Might sew some curtains. Or take a nap.
4. Do some more damage to piles of paper in my basement.
5. Will attempt not to farm out -- or import entertainment for -- Princess Boredom, who will probably be very bored with everything.
