Looking forward to the weekend.

saffronhareI'm so excited about this weekend, for lots of little reasons that are probably silly.
First, I think I've managed to get through a really nasty cold without having it turn into bronchitis or pneumonia. This is perhaps the first time in, like, eight years. A long way to go yet, but the Paxil Project seems to be working. Many thanks to the TCP for their TLC. As a side benefit, being healthier means I won't have to miss Faire for the third or fourth year in a row. I've either been ungainly pregnant or sick or both.
Tomorrow, I might even be able to devote a bit of time/energy to sewing gowns for the littlest princesses, too. That means we could all possibly wear garb to some degree on Sunday. If I'm not sewing, it means I'm either napping or painting, so it's all good.
I will actually know people at Faire for the very first time! And maybe get to buy some garb -- perhaps even a corset of my very own! I feel very girly and social and spontaneous about it all, which is dizzying but fun.
Oh, yeah -- Somebody at work called me plucky, and lived to tell about it (after he provided the Merriam-Webster definition).
