things we have learned so far today
Feb. 12th, 2013 09:50 amFirst: Quinoa cooked in coconut milk can be yummy, but only with toppings. Without anything added, the general household consensus is YUCK. FionaPie likes quinoa for dinner, but doesn't think it "tastes like breakfast" to her, even with toppings. The two people who did their taste tests without any toppings didn't like it much at all; one actually *spit it out* rinsed her mouth out at the sink. Favored toppings included some combination of drizzled coconut milk, brown sugar, sliced almonds, and dried cranberries.
Second: The opposite side of the "really excellent pain management" coin at the dentist is "taking forever to not feel numb anymore," which is jacking with my morning coffee. When I left, dentist said it was FINE to eat or drink, but that's *very* different from actually being CAPABLE of such. You know, without dribbling like a fool.
