on the bright side: snuggles

Today, KiraDeara is having that crappiest day of a cold, so she's home from school with coughs, sniffles, and a low-grade temp. Nothing too dramatic, thank goodness. I'm working from home and getting lots of snuggles from her and the doggies, who feel they should be as close to her as possible. Not a bad life, really. :)

Girl doesn't like tea. WTF. Instead, we are plying her with hot cider and soup. There's a cold virus going around her school, she says. It's kind of par for the course, to have a cold run through everyone in the family at least twice each year. (When they were younger, it was more like 4-5 times/year.) I'm sneezing today, but I tell myself it's because I've been moving boxes around in the basement. That's my delusion and I'm sticking to it! :)
