In no particular order:
- Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat beer is yummy. I didn't expect to like it, but YAY.
- Beef/Mushroom/Barley stew freezes well and then reheats well, too. Leftover win!
- Catching up with old friends online is a fun and relatively safe way to weather the infrequent lonely spots of a long weekend.
- Double-crochet is a groovy groove to get into, and it's a blessing when a project doesn't end up being more complicated or time-consuming than one thought it'd be at the outset.
- Pumpkin pie on the day after Thanksgiving is super-yummy, even if one didn't consume any turkey or stuffing, and especially if the pie was made by
fionnabhar. - Fixing the upholstery on a sofa is a lot like a boob job: adding stuffing for firmness and lift, and then hiding the stitches.
- Words like "cheerful" and "trouble" can still apply to me, even though I'm a real live JoCo soccer mom now.
- Jack hates brooms with the passion of a thousand suns, and would Destroy Them All if he could. Which makes sweeping things a whole lotta fun.
- My parents are pretty nifty people.
- Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.

Lemme give those patterns a try and I'll get back to you? If I can't do it, then I know some folks who certainly can. :)
