Unexpected juiciness.
Jun. 17th, 2009 01:03 pmThis afternoon, I took a lunch break adventure to secure one of my birthday gifts to me -- signing up for some classes at the Yoga Gallery. Alas, I was thwarted, because they lock the door during classes. I am planning to attend a class this evening, so I'll try to get there early enough to handle that admin stuff before the session starts.
Suddenly, a band struck up (live, steel-drum-type music from the "village square") and I turned to see a modest turn-out for the Farmer's Market. The scent of nectarines wound about my head and I wandered over to drop a teensy bit of cash on juicy, nommy, locally grown FROOOT. Blueberries and blackberries, nectarines, tomatoes and golden yellow cherries.
My fingers will be so sticky this afternoon. Need to remember not to gorge myself, though, because I don't want my tummy to be full for yoga class after work. That would totally not help.
