Because I suck at pictures.

I have shamelessly signed up all over LJ for people to post pictures of fictional characters who remind them of me (or vice versa). Except I suck at pictures, so it wouldn't work so great for me to do the same for them.

To balance out the bargain on this one, I'd like to offer Awful Haiku.* If you comment here, I promise to respond with a haiku written just for you.** A dubious gift, but there you go. :)

*That's not to say I won't try to write really nifty haiku -- because I do try -- just that I'm very bad at it...though better than I am at pictures. Because pictures require coding and shit like that.

**Probably limited to some element of your personality that pops into my head first today. Please not to be offended by what will certainly be a mere shadow of your Glorious Self.

UPDATE: It's Monday morning and I'm feeling All Done with haikus now. Please, nobody more in, okay? Your turn for an awful haiku will no doubt come 'round again in the future. Be still, my beating heart! :)

Neither and both. Mostly, I was trying to build in your and you're; their, there, and they're; its and it's.

Naturally, I ran out of syllables. And cleverness. Ah, well.
