First, there's [livejournal.com profile] tryst_inn, posting about her new bunny. With peekchures. (Sadly, only Friends can post comments, else I'd be thanking her directly.)

I'd barely begun to recover from that, when I saw [livejournal.com profile] duriyah's post and linky-link to some marvelous person's story about their day with the dog: I Has Sweet Potato. (The writer, [livejournal.com profile] littera_abactor, has already been metaquoted, so I don't think it's terrible to direct you there.)

Tears. Rolling down my face. I may be hemorraging with suppressed laughter. For the love of all that is holy, keep me away from pet stores and adoption shelters.

EDIT: Also, [livejournal.com profile] jackbabalon23 has posted an imaginary set, which he's calling his "Sunday Cocktail Hour." Must. Boogie. Or. Die.

That's it, folks. Completely incapable of generating any original thought today whatsoever. I may be sitting at my desk for the next 90 minutes, but my left brain has left the building. :)

FURTHERMORE: Thanks to the scattering of my wits, I have discovered that [livejournal.com profile] littera_abactor is an alternate LJ for a thrilling person called [livejournal.com profile] thefourthvine. I am in serious brain lust...a brain lust that has shattered all previous brain lust covenants, spoken and unspoken. Sorry, [livejournal.com profile] jackbablon23. I'll dance to your mix, but my groove is goin' home with [livejournal.com profile] thefourthvine. I'm sure you understand.

If I can't manage to write like this person -- which I'd give my left nut for, had I one to give -- then I will have to settle for reading. It strikes me as not at all odd that I enjoy reading stuff that people write about slash, though I have not ever read the actual slash. Hell, I seldom know the source material they're talking about. Do I care? No suh. (shrug)

Special note for [livejournal.com profile] fionnabhar: A bit down the entry page, there's a reference to Redford/Newman slash. It's billed as what *should* have happened after "The Sting." Love you.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. I had the same reaction to I Has Sweet Potatoe.

I think I ruptured a sinus when the writer reached the point of not bothering to return to work, but instead just waited for The Sound.

Sorry, jackbablon23. I'll dance to your mix, but my groove is goin' home with thefourthvine.

That's okay, because [livejournal.com profile] jackbabalon23 is all mine anyway. (Why yes, I do have a rich fantasy life. Why do you ask?)

My sides hurt, I'm so glad there are no sweet potatoes in the house!

OMG -- you went looking for it? Sorry, honey. I didn't read it. I just noticed the talk about it. :)

Definitely one of those I'd rather fuck a sheep moments, if you know what I mean.
