reading, reading, reading
Nov. 7th, 2006 02:36 pmI seem to be getting back into reading again lately, which is a good thing. For a while, it just made my eyes burn to read words on a page. I'd actually cringe at the thought of picking up a book. Don't know why, but there you go.
These days, my nightstand is piling up with books, all of which I seem to be actively using. And that makes me happy. I've got some crossword collections (and the crossword dictionary) that I sometimes do a bit on before turning off the light at night. There's a copy of Eragon, which I'm finally reading at the insistence of
princessboredom. She won't let me go drool over Jeremy Irons in the movie if I don't. And there are also a couple of books there for my Generalist Study Program for ADF. At first, I figured I'd work on Divination first and then go on to Critical Thinking. But it's doing interesting things to my brain to work them both at the same time. Kind of an alternating current of consciousness. That gets a thumbs-up. :)
Most of the filters I've currently got going are there simply to address whatever ratio of privacy::sharing seems best in my own head. But I'm about to start a GSP filter...which will likely have sporadic entries, hold very little interest to most folks but perhaps some interest to some, and very little requirement for absolute Privacy. Please let me know if you'd like to be in on it.

Date: 2006-11-07 09:40 pm (UTC)So my general answer is, if you want me to see it or don't care if I do, sign me up. I'll pass on by if it suits me... :-)

Date: 2006-11-07 09:52 pm (UTC)I'm asking specifically for folks who would prefer to "opt in" on this topic (though they might pass by on any given day anyway).
The list is likely to be pretty small -- and made up almost exclusively of people who aren't all that put off by my yammering about druidish topics. Some days, it might only be me. :)
You're always free to ask me about it, since it's not passionately private stuff. Just quite possibly boring. Does that make sense to you? Does any of this change your answer? :)
