I seem to be getting back into reading again lately, which is a good thing. For a while, it just made my eyes burn to read words on a page. I'd actually cringe at the thought of picking up a book. Don't know why, but there you go.

These days, my nightstand is piling up with books, all of which I seem to be actively using. And that makes me happy. I've got some crossword collections (and the crossword dictionary) that I sometimes do a bit on before turning off the light at night. There's a copy of Eragon, which I'm finally reading at the insistence of [livejournal.com profile] princessboredom. She won't let me go drool over Jeremy Irons in the movie if I don't. And there are also a couple of books there for my Generalist Study Program for ADF. At first, I figured I'd work on Divination first and then go on to Critical Thinking. But it's doing interesting things to my brain to work them both at the same time. Kind of an alternating current of consciousness. That gets a thumbs-up. :)

Most of the filters I've currently got going are there simply to address whatever ratio of privacy::sharing seems best in my own head. But I'm about to start a GSP filter...which will likely have sporadic entries, hold very little interest to most folks but perhaps some interest to some, and very little requirement for absolute Privacy. Please let me know if you'd like to be in on it.

I generally feel out of the loop on a lot of things (I totally understand not knowing things that are none of my business but still feel weird when someone asks me what I think about something and I don't have clue that anything is wrong/going on).

So my general answer is, if you want me to see it or don't care if I do, sign me up. I'll pass on by if it suits me... :-)

I'm not ever going to expect you to have an opinion about something I've only mentioned on LJ. It is absolutely not the source of news about my life, you know? Anyway...

I'm asking specifically for folks who would prefer to "opt in" on this topic (though they might pass by on any given day anyway).

The list is likely to be pretty small -- and made up almost exclusively of people who aren't all that put off by my yammering about druidish topics. Some days, it might only be me. :)

You're always free to ask me about it, since it's not passionately private stuff. Just quite possibly boring. Does that make sense to you? Does any of this change your answer? :)

From this perspective I would chose to opt-in. I am always interested in reading/talking about people's paths and chosen study areas as it is insight for me not only into them but in some instances myself.

I ascribe to the whole, I define my self in part by what I am not, kind of thing. :-)

You know, I was just thinking that my life lacked druidish yammering.

Count me in on the GSP filter please :)

If I'm not on the GSP filter put me on. I love scholarly stuff.
