moment of self-pity

My foot has been hurting AGAIN for the last couple of weeks, so I finally consented to go back to the doctor. After a lot of poking and prodding and some x-rays, we're going with a diagnosis of stress fracture. AWESOME. For the moment, that means two more weeks in The Boot. Which I HATE. Also, some new NSAIDS and advice to boost my intake of Vitamin D and Omega-3. When we got home, I looked up more information on the NSAID they gave me, which I hadn't taken before. Turns out, it's primarily used as an analgesic/anti-inflammatory med for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. SOOPER.

Re-check in two weeks, with possible MRI if it doesn't seem to be getting better. I asked point-blank if being fat was part of the problem...she said NO, but being non-compliant sure could be. So now I have to be really GOOD. Compliant, even.
