a "half-empty glass" kind of day

In all, my life's not that bad, I know.

Got my lazy ass out of bed by lollygagging a bit less than usual, but still lagged into work because I used up the time by adding a chore at home instead of moving it on out to work. I was pleased with having finished morning chores, but need to convince myself to get up earlier. This is pathetic.

Remembered to bring a righteous breakfast but didn't worry about lunch because I thought I'd be lunching with a client today. Wrong. So, now I'm eating cookies so I don't kill anyone before I have to go be charming with this client. The topic isn't even all that interesting -- I am literally filling time. Guh.

And, after an exhilirating bike ride to work on Tuesday morning, I've been unable to ride since. Weather mostly. Grr. I am physically and mentally restless, with very little opportunity for input/output that will please me right now. I've been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing of things to compensate. Looking forward to grocery shopping and some cooking tonight, maybe a bit of Nine Fires writing.

I have a half-ass project plan for completing the website on our collaboration site. I also made a new project simply called "general business development" -- It would be nice to have some business cards to hand out once we have the website up and running.

Which, by my calculations, could be next Friday! Woo!

I got those assignments last night! Woohoo! This evening, I shall burn off some excess energy with grocery shopping and cleaning during the hours I was gonna be at book club, then settle down to some writing by about 9 p.m. Yay.

I can offer many kinds of help, but I'm afraid loading this weekend isn't one of them. Sorry. I'm good at carrying and stuff, but having the kids to wrangle means I'd only be useful as a crew chief...and you've already got that part covered!

I may drop off that meat tonight, BTW. Still waiting to hear from Smith&Sons about the car. Perhaps I shall go call them now.
