Sweet, frosted temptation.
May. 3rd, 2005 12:31 pmA big box of frosted cherry pop tarts has appeared on the kitchen table at work, in the position of items to which folks are encouraged to help themselves.
It is a sin among my people to let pop tarts go unloved and unconsumed. They are a gift from heaven. I mustn't spurn them.
EDIT: Weeping and lamentations. The box was empty. Oh, bittersweet! the joy of knowing that the pop tarts have been consumed by others who are grateful for such gifts from heaven. I like to think those frosted rectangles of cherry-filled goodness were fortunate enough to be lightly toasted, even. And the day goes on.
