Compared to the last several years -- the year of trying not to get divorced while mom fought breast cancer; the year of getting divorced; the year of selling the house -- this year is pretty frickin' easy. But why am I now feeling like I'm coming apart at the seams?

Makes nosense. Relying a lot now on routines and writing things down, because things are sliding through the cracks. Very distressing. I think I need a bit of a defrag. Or something.

I was going to say 'defrag', too. Hold it together for so long until you don't HAVE to, and things can get shattery.

Probably need a bit of focused (or at least intentional) downtime before you fly apart.

That's a good point. Aftershocks are starting to sweep through without my permission, which is very disconcerting. Intentional downtime with some safeties set up might help. Thanks. :)
