I'm really grooving on this new job. I *love* that what I'm "selling" now isn't intellectual property. That's not to say intellectual property is bad...but it's really cool to be writing about STUFF that goes PLACES for people to USE and BUILD and MAKE THINGS HAPPEN with. I can't get over what a difference that makes for me. Who knew?

Other folks work more on solution design and project implementation or integration stuff, which is fine by me, but I'm being asked to do a lot more project management than ever before. Additionally, I'm starting to get involved in writing about processes. The happiest thing about this is the way it relates to advancement here in particular and future employability in general. These skills are so much more marketable than...well, just marketing. COOLNESS.

It's time to start researching some continuing education options. I honestly don't know if it's a matter of attending some workshops, joining a professional association and reading/participating in that kind of thing, taking an actual academic class, pursuing a degree/certification, or what. Maybe a little of everything.

Does anybody have insight they could please share?

I have no clue whatsoever might make for good continuing education courses in this area, but Spanish never hurts anybody's employability.

And that's all I got.
