I'm starting to work through the next iteration of my 101 in 1001 list, which will renew sometime in January, and I'm having a hard time coming up with more than a dozen or so items. Surely there are other learning opportunities, fun activities, and horizon-expanding moments I could seek out, but I'm stumped. It occurs to me that some of the best stuff comes from outside my own head, so I'm asking for help with ideas.

Oh, VURD: What would you challenge me with?

There's a pretty huge range of things I could put on the list, from outrageous to common-sense...expensive to free...frightening to enlightening...

The next 1001 will have most of the kids out of the house, and the youngest ones fairly self-propelling, yes? Just trying to take into account how much time-liberty you're likely to have.

PB will be a senior in college, I think, if not graduated (hard to say with all the transfer stuff). LadySadie will have transitioned to a 4-yr college, unless she changes her Plan. B.Ryce graduates in 2015. So, yes...we'd be down to 50% of what we had when I started this last iteration.

KierMan will be a senior in HS when the next 1001 expires. That means FionaPie will be a sophomore and KiraDeara will be in 8th grade. Lord help me.

Have coffee with your BFF at least four times a year, she said with a deep and abiding selfishness.

We have not been in the same physical space since--what?--February? January?

No bueno.

The first thing that came to mind for me: Pick a class from each college student's courseload, have them copy the syllabus for you, then go buy the required books and play along at home. (And if it's a *really* cool class, share the love and we'll all play along! lol)
