on playing games

Last night, I was chatting with
fionnabhar about the games I've been enjoying lately -- Mahjong on FB and Jewels on my phone. The Android Market on my phone describes them as "casual games," and that's probably about right -- they don't take a lot of brain power, I can stop and start on a whim (like when I'm standing in line somewhere), and it's not like I invest a lot in advancing or finishing levels or whatever. That really works for my life right now. :)
As sorting and matching games, they also put emphasis on creating teeny tiny pieces of order out of chaos, or identifying sparkly patterns. Like she said, I like to "match all the things!"
