What I'm not doing for summer vacation.

I was thinking just now, about all the great things I'm not-doing for summer vacation this year, compared to recent years...and how I'm more than okay with all of it:

• I am not moving.


• I am not job-hunting.


• I am not selling a house.


• I am not panicked about having health insurance for anybody.


• I am not nursing an injury or illness, for myself or anybody in my immediate family.

Five years ago, I would not have imagined >>here<< as where my life would be, but it's pretty good anyway. And I don't know where the next five years will take me, but I figure this is a good place to be starting from. Happy.

Hey, my list is rather similar! In fact, I commented earlier this week that it felt strange not to be looking for yet another job and a place to live this summer.

I could get to liking this setup...
