holding up my end of the deal

saffronhareAs promised, here are some words about the Association Meme from yesterday. I don't think I missed any, because I didn't ask for many at all. [holy formatting errors, batman!] Can't really say that anymore, can I? :)

1) limber and athletic kids -- Cross-country, sword-fighting, swimming, gymnastics, soccer...yeah, they like to get around. I do a lot of laundry.
2) smart kids -- YAY! Better yet, they really *like* being smart.
3) strength (was going to say "woman power," but it felt cliche-ish) -- Er. This is something I aspire to, so it's nice to know other folks think I manage it once in a while. (blush)
4) Druidry -- La Druide, that's me. :)
5) doggies -- Love love love me some doggiez. Definitely a dog person!

1) ADF -- I've been a member of ADF for a long while, and currently serve as Senior Druid for Wild Hare Grove, ADF here in the KC area.
2) Bunnies! -- Childhood nickname and primary personal totem.
3) Huddling in the back of an SUV waiting out a thunderstorm -- At the drive-in!
4) Fence Building -- Man-handling that huge earth drilling thing was terribly, terribly fun.
5) Gymnastics -- This must refer to Fiona Pie (aka Princess !Kaboom). We're in the middle of a pretty demanding competitive season right now, and I'm not even the one doing backflips.

1. Taking damage. I think what she's referring to here is my general willingness to pay the price of the bargains I strike, partially wrapped up in warrior ethics and recovering Catholicism.
2. Cranberry bread. There are few things I bake, but this I do very well.
3. Aengus. Who knew patrons could be FUN?! Until him, I sure didn't.
4. Divination. Of all the priestly arts, this and liturgy are my favorites.
5. Jason Statham. Guh.

1. QBLH (Boot of severity) -- Despite the fact I know thismuch (oh, to make that text smaller!) about the system, I really groove on the pillars. Oddly enough, Mercy feels more like home to me.
2. amazing cocoa mix -- I am enormously pleased not to have had to surrender this recipe in the divorce (ha!) because it originally came fromagrnmn's mom. I've still got some at the house, if'n you need it to finish off this so-called winter.
3. fantabulous taco dip -- These days,princessboredom gets upset if I make it, because she considers it Her Territory. So very bad, but so very GOOD.
4.seership hair -- I have a lot of hair, and I'm very good at growing it. Right now, I'm contemplating doing something interesting with color, if I can overcome my fear that I won't be able to manage upkeep. Length seems good for now, though I need a bit of a shape-up.
5. kicking my ass (usually in a beneficial way) -- You kicked my ass plenty yourself, babe. :)

1. white flowers -- I'm guessing this is from the Year of Arianrhod? Heavens, I miss the God Auction!
2. "it's too fah" -- Yes, I'm from Rho Dyelin.
3. compassionate piracy -- I am not nice, but I sometimes manage to Do Good. I hope.
4. duckie jammies -- I lurve my duckie jammies and wore them last night, scar and all!
5. thug hands -- I has them.
