I've missed a few days here and figure I may never catch up, even if I tried. So...if it's important to you that I read/know/form an opinion about something you posted, please contact me directly about it.

The medication I had over the weekend had an odd side effect -- in addition to relieving pain, it tended to make me forget where my arms were. Which, I've discovered, means I miss a lot. I don't know if my arms are directly connected to cognitive function or just share enough of it to serve as a "canary in the mine" about how well I'm thinking or what. I'm just sayin'.

I'm giving it a go at work for a few hours today, but will likely climb into bed a bit later. Ta-ta for now,
Saff

Thanks. I heard the ritual went well yesterday. Sorry the brain-damaged eldest daughter didn't give me the message about the membership book. Secretarial faux pas there...

It's entirely possible -- I usually gauge how drunk I am by how my arms feel (or whether I can feel them). It's not quite as amusing as "I can't feel your nose, you're drunk," but it's far more accurate.
