Happy thoughts.
Dec. 18th, 2008 10:06 amFrom yesterday, because I couldn't really face getting online much last night. At our department's Unauthorized Holiday Gathering, bosslady gave everyone nifty t-shirts. I got one from Veer.com -- A shirt declaring me to be a member of the Very Secret Order of Creatives Understanding , gilded with the Order’s official crest, featuring a multitasking winged octopus sporting a levitating crown. I can only pray that someday I will be cool enough to wear this t-shirt, but I will note that it probably meets
triadruid's standards for general snugness.
UPDATE: Today's happy thought is that the house is -- finally -- SOLD. As in, the realtor has received payment for her unbelievably complicated and frustrating work over the last 12+ months and the new owners are settling in for Christmas. It remains to be seen whether the mortgage company will hold us liable for the difference on the short sale, but foreclosure has been sidestepped and credit recovery can begin. ::exhale::
