Help for Robot Girl?

I should create a KC-area only list. Oh, well.

The daughter of a friend of mine at work has decided she will Manufacture ROBOTS for her school's "market day" coming up in January. For the next week or so, they're gathering supplies in preparation for work during Chrismas vacation. Anybody wanna funnel materials through me? Robot Girl is in first grade.

Here's the message:

"My daughter is working on a school project for their “market day” in which SHE has decided to manufacture robots.

We are in need of 30-50 cans (soup cans or smaller would be ideal but a few larger ones would work too) and also any old metal odds and ends (ie. nuts, bolts, other small metal workshop leftover pieces etc.) that you would like to get rid of. If you happen to have either or both of these and would like to donate them to a school project let me know.

I cleared a bunch of this sort of thing out when I moved, so I don't have much to contribute, but figured some of you might think this was a nifty project to support. Thank you!

I have some leftover copper shiny from the Agatha's gun project that might be useful, and I would be delighted to donate them to Robot Girl.

You might recommend that she also request things like Altoid tins--different shapes, in addition to soup cans will make the robots much more interesting. I have some metal tins, but I don't know how I'd get them to you.
