Also: I have a definite urge now, to convert some satin jammie pants into bloomers or simply construct some from things already in my project pile. Who's got a good bloomer pattern I can eyeball and modify?
Don't sweat it, honey. You've got plenty on your plate, and I'm pretty sure somebody had posted a link to patterns online. Besides -- you brought me the duckie jammiez!
Yeah, the pattern I used for Agatha came off somebody's SCA costuming website, and we cut them down. I will see if I can find the paper pattern when I get home and send you the link.
I'm 95% sure that this is the pattern we used initially for yours: http://www.antipope.org/feorag/gosurori/bloomers-pattern.pdf (no, I have no idea why the Antipope wears Bloomers, and second, the page has a tendency to format funny because (I think) it's A4 rather than Letter.)
If you still haz jammie pants pattern that's really all they are. (minus pockets) Mine stop mid calf and then have 5 inch or so of the same fabric sewn on to make a "ruffle" w/ some trim sewn over the seam. They are ankle length. I like mine long. Mistress Cognac wears hers knee length, mid calf is fairly common.
Oh, that's right! I still have that happy pants jammie pattern from the ill-fated Yule or making Happy Pants for Everyone. (sigh) Okay. At least now I know I already have something I'm used to working with. Thank you. :)
