Happy Birthday wishes to [livejournal.com profile] diermuid, who is an incredibly difficult guy to purchase a gift for. I do hope you'll keep up with the breathing and waking up in the morning thing for a while longer. :)

Thanks! and thank you for the poacher, I went out and got the Costco pack of eggs the next day. 8-) Last time I poached eggs, we went through a whole 18-pack, which lead to Doris calling me "Captain Cholesterol", so a poacher is a good choice. Actually, I think kitchen gadgets generally work as gifts for guys who spend time in the kitchen, I have noticed a LOT of similarity in the way I stop my toolbench and the way I stock my kitchen island... with lots of exotic but useful 'tools' that will encourage me to take on a variety of projects just to justify each and every tool. 8-)

Thank you... I realize I'm hard to buy for, perhaps it is a martyr thing? for future reference (since you ladies are better at knowing where to get this stuff) I've been meaning to get an apron or something for cooking and doing dishes.
