If you're not local to the KC area, this is your chance to tune out.
"Does anybody (who hasn't already replied tofeatherynscale's post) want to come over and help build out our backyard fence this weekend? Saturday the 24th will be the big day (starting at 10ish, until dusk) and we may be able to get it all done then except for the gate, but Sunday and possibly Monday are also available, at least for those of us hosting. I think Friday night we're already occupied, and obviously those of you going to enjoy yourselves at Heartland are already exempt.
We will pay you in food and booze, and whatever games we have energy for after the sun goes down. We probably even can manage crash space if people want to sleep over and get an early start the following day, or just drink themselves silly (after rehydrating!).
Gloves, sunscreen, bugspray, boards/posts, and basic tools we got. We'll probably have to acquire a bigger post-hole-digger if we don't have enough hole-diggin' monkeys, and anyone who can bring a pneumatic nailer will have their praises sung from on high. Otherwise, we can certainly rent one of those.

If you expect to need some specific hospitality (such as crash space) in order to participate, then please reply to one of their posts with your request, since I can't promise what isn't mine to offer.
