nibble, nibble

adammaker this morning; when I mentioned what I was doing at the time (sorting through owner's manuals to discard what I don't own anymore, etc.), he said it was like "the duck thing."
Er. What?
The way ducks nibble away at stuff, he said. You're either doing the nibbling or you're getting nibbled at. Oh. So, you're like the duck today, he said.
Okay. Bunnies nibble too. I kind of like the picture in my head: Nibbling away. Kind of cheers me up and makes me laugh, which is good.
This Weeks' Nibbling will include serious detail cleaning in the living room/dining room/foyer. I've now reached a place where everything that *can be* has already been prepacked or decluttered already. Things are pretty darn clean. This week, however, I'll focus on the pre-moving cleaning: Cobwebs, floorboards, windows and window wells. That kind of thing. One zone at a time, man.
The basement is clear except for the boxes on the shelves (and the laundry); the garage is down to the last 15% of stuff. YAY. Mostly, I now need to figure out what to do with larger items that are trash. Does anybody have a large item pickup week coming up?
