the good, the bad, and the unexpected

saffronhareThis is not to say "unexpected" is the same as "ugly." I just didn't feel like concentrating on anything ugly, is all.
The Good: OMG loaded potato bites from Arby's. The favored lunch side of Captain Cholesterol. I love them so.
The Bad: My soles of my shoes seem to be letting moisture seep through. Cold moisture. But, for me, it's either ordinary shoes or my Sorels. Time for some hiking shoes or something more sensible-er.
The Unexpected: Today is Massage Day at the office. She's no longer doing chair massages; she's brought in an actual table and is doing 15-minute workplace massages. I love Massage Day, even when I'm not getting one, because she uses lovely essential oils and people give off that happy-massage-vibe all day long. Also because of her splendid Russian accent. Except today, she's playing baroque classical music. Which I HATE HATE HATE. It is all twittery and ornamental and formulaic at the same time and I might even choose poodly-dang-dang country music over this. (At least for a little while.)
