I was at Petco last night in an effort to coordinate some errands and pick up dog food at the same time. They had BUNNIEZ!* OMG the kyoot nearly killed me. There was one big, brindle sweetie with enormous feet and the schmoobliest face ever. It was like the Great Dane of bunnies, I tell you.

::sigh:: A swift reality check came in the form of a black lab, slathering and straining to get at the bunnies. I decided to grab a bag of Eukanuba instead. Much more cost-effective dingo food.

Foiled again.

*Please don't get me a bunny. I adore my dog and can't imagine living without a dog, ever, so having a house rabbit is a distant fantasy, viewed through a haze of blood spatter and crippling doses of Benadryl (since I seem to be allergic to the one pet rabbit I know).

I will note that the Rex breed tends to be much less allergen-producing. they also have wonderful velvety coats. Like buttah!

oy, the kyoot, the kyoot. my husband has put bunnies on the Verboten list (until we live in the country, like 30 acres of our own 30 miles from town), so i feel yer pain.

It's a whole new reality show, Pet Swap! You can have the cat too, since the puppy is bigger... evens out the poundage of the swap, so to speak. 8-)

I will note that Marles got walked twice a day while she was here, in addition to the ZOMFG!! runs around the yard. So at least for a little bit, she may be better on the leash for you.
