Princess !Kaboom came downstairs this morning with a whole wad of Silly Putty stuck in her hair. OMG.

In case anybody ever needs to know, cooking spray works Very Well. It combed out within minutes. A quick wash, and she was ready to get to school on time! (There were also tips to use hand sanitizer or peanut butter; the cooking spray was simply what we tried first and it worked rally quickly.) Thank goodness...because she's been trying to grow her hair longer. Cutting it out would have sucked.

Once again, a total disaster averted by the internet. :)
I didn't even know Silly Putty would stick to hair. It never stuck in mine when I was a kid, and the gods know I tried.

She slept on it, from what I can tell. That's some serious pressure and heat applied over time.

Gods forbid that this information ever be needed by you, but I can vouch that loads and loads of conditioner will remove Gorilla Glue from even very long hair. Or at least it will if you get to it before it hardens -- I sure didn't repeat the experiment to see if it worked on cured glue as well.
