click-BOOM
Sep. 2nd, 2007 10:06 pmPrincess !Kaboom can ride a two-wheeler now.
Last Saturday, she asked to get the training wheels off the second-best bike, and she practiced a lot...but didn't get more than a few feet with any single attempt, even after asking us to stop holding onto her. We figured, meh, it'll take some time.
Fast-forward to yesterday, when I purchased a new helmet for her (with butterflies on), the training wheels came off the birthday bike, and
agrnmn took her to the school parking lot so there would be more room than in our driveway.
click-BOOM.
According to Daddy on the Scene, she got on the bike and just WENT. Now, she's crazy for it. Spent a good three hours riding today -- changing speeds, turning, going over bumps, and all that. Eep.
