Not that I think McDonald's is high cuisine or anything, but their Bacon Ranch Salad (with grilled chicken) isn't all bad. I prefer the Wendy's version, though the Wendy's near work doesn't seem to have it anymore and the drive-thru gnomes deny that it ever existed. ::sigh::

Does anybody know why the US Bank ATM on 87th Street has a prompter voice? I mean, none of the other US Bank ATMs I've used in the area have a prompter voice. And, perhaps more importantly, why does this one speak with the voice of a Scottish woman?

Finally, this snippet from a recent conversation:
Friend: How are you doing today?
Me: Not so bad...continuing to breathe, so that's good.
Friend: Shooting a little low, aren't you?
Me: I like to think it maximizes my options.

Right near 87th & Switzer, across from the JoCo Library. It's a lovely voice, really. Just...very unexpected.
