an apology to my chiropractor

Dear Dr. so-and-so:

I'm so very sorry to have missed my appointment today. See, I had my head up my ass. While it's possible an adjustment could have helped with that, I couldn't see my calendar from there. And driving was Right Out.

Please accept my apologies, as well as the reassurance that I'll call to reschedule soonest. In the meantime, I'll get a firm grip on my ears and pull real hard.
