In my defense, I must say: This is excellent cake.

I've got a piece of cake at my desk, graciously given to me from somebody's leftovers on this glorious Friday afternoon. But today, I am as clumsy as I am gluttonous. The too-large bite I'd scooped onto my fork dropped onto my keyboard on the way to my mouth. Quickly, I picked up the cake and popped it into my mouth, then upended the keyboard to shake out the crumbs. But -- oh, noes! Frosting on the keys! (F7 and F8, to be precise.) Can't have that. So I did what any self-respecting barbarian (or Cancerian) would do.

I licked it off.

Yeah, it was crass. And thank the gods nobody walked in on me. But wow. This is excellent cake.
