Friends have been tremendously indulgent and gentle with me over the last few days, and I really appreciate it. Not sure where all this oh-so-tired thing is coming from, but I'm certain I could sleep until April at least. Even with agrnmn letting me laze on Sunday morning and making sure I got to bed early the last couple of nights, it's gotten worse.

Today, I'm walking into walls and needing people to repeat things to me three and four times before I can manage to understand the topic, let alone what they're saying. (shaking head) Yesterday was a Rest Day from walk training, but I might take skip the walk today -- or cut it much shorter than five miles. Sure, I need to keep up the training. But it won't do me much good to trip over my own feet, will it?

It might be time to evaluate my diet and make sure my nutritional intake is keeping up with the demands I'm putting on my body these days. The demands are good and healthy, but this magnitude of exhaustion is a clue I think I should heed. Failure to function is no good at all.

ETA: My hip flexor is teh owie, so literal ass-kickings will have to be curtailed for now. At least with my right foot. I'm ambidextrous (what is the word if one is talking about feet?), but not quite as strong leading with the left foot. Bummer, that.

You can use the term ambidextrous for feet. It has nothing etymological to do with hands. "Ambi" means both, and "dext-" means right (as opposed to left), so it means "right on both sides." Could be hands or feet, I reckon.
