Before 8 a.m., I'd managed to slosh pee from the training potty all over myself and the bathroom floor. Before my shower, thank the gods.

Before 9 a.m., I'd stapled my own hand. With the last staple in the world. And jammed the stapler.

.
Now, I'm going to get some coffee and brace myself to be charming and clever for a client with whom I get to spend quality time this afternoon.

It's going to be a lovely day, I can tell.

UPDATE: Pandora is taking very good care of the world today. Y'all should write them a letter or something. They just played Joe Cocker's live version of Feelin' Alright...and it's being followed by the Stones' Gimme Shelter. The Red Goddess' most devoted child is feeling much appeased now, drinking her tea with honey.

No, but (not so jokingly) I'm likely to be in my jammies by the time you get there. :) And eager to chill out with a bath before bedtime. Glad I got in my yoga this morning, anyway.

Honestly, that's the least of my worries today. None of youse guys are foyerizers. Really, the awful stuff should be mostly overwith by the time we start meeting. (knock on wood)

I will tell you that my day is still weaving in this "day of mishap" variety. I would give my kingdom for some black printer ink, f* the horse! I am so glad we still have these days together...I'd like to schedule a day of leisure for us soon--together in spirit or physical. Lets talk calendars.

Calendar denotes 'Flood Day'--I have no idea what this means, but have decided to try to tread water, as seems best solution for survival. Loud crunching/breaking of things in other room. I'm not going to go look unless screaming soon follows. call, yes.
