My filtered existence.

Hey, remember that last post? The one where I talked about using filters if I'm going to talk about my libido? It was a bit weird for me to have some of you say you wanted in on it. Yeah. See, if you know me at all, you already know that I live a highly filtered existence. I'm a private person, and don't care to talk about my sex life in public. I don't even kiss my husband with tongue in public. And as fun and lovely as LJ is, it's public.

Also, I will sometimes ask to be left off somebody's "nookie" filter because I don't want to know all that much about their sex lives. I'm flattered that some of you want to be in on the filter, but this is a personal thing -- and my default setting is to figure nobody wants to hear about any of this anyway. I make fun of it, even as I struggle with it.

This thought was going somewhere, but now I've lost the trail. Oh, well. I'd better just take some good advice, go through the Cross, and climb into bed. Good night, everyone. This post will likely die in the morning.

Ditto that. It's just that when you announce that weird stuff might be on the way, folks will chime in that they wanna see that weird stuff, oh yeah. It was like that.

I have some struggles with my own libido and I'm willing to listen. In a public forum like LJ or alone over tea.

I get added to so many filters, it's not even funny :) I don't mind, though: if someone's open enough to share, I'm open enough to read.

I don't really remember if I said I'd like to be added, but I do know that I like to see things from you and hear from you, so I imagine that, if I did respond to that it was, "Hey, one more chance to be around Saff!"

But then, I'd think that if you were talking about your "I drank diet coke today" filter.
