Sure, I need a cut and a color. That's not the problem. The problem is that I cannot manage my hair at all this week. I can get through a work day and even manage some household chores just fine, but just getting it washed and rinsed in the shower with my shoulder the way it is makes me want to scream. In fact, showering and toweling myself dry makes me dizzy with pain. This, from a woman who's been through childbirth without meds.

And drying my hair? Brushing or combing it? Styling it? No fecking way. And I hate hats, so don't suggest one. I need a cabana boy, please, to come brush and braid my hair for me. Or just to shave the stuff off. ::whimper::

EDIT: Roller Derby is also getting popular again, just as I'm getting too old and crunchy to be a star. That seriously bums me out.

Rowan looks cute in a bandanna, I think you would too.

Is it the arm that hurts or the scalp?

You could always grab Miss Thang and tell her "Look, I brushed YOUR hair for years, help me out this week and I might let you off the hook a little down the road when it comes to our diapers." 8-)

Excellent idea. It's the arm that makes brushing impossible. I can do many things left-handed, but brushing isn't one of them -- the brush gets all tangled and then...well, flaming death. I stomp my feet and pout and everything.

Excellent idea about the helping. If I can only manage to discourage artful placement of ribbons and beads and bells while she's at it, then all the better.

A moment of hint for the day: I carry a brush and comb in my satchel, if anybody has some free time today. :)

Was that for hubby or anyone with an impulsive urge to brush hair? 8-)

I thought about being a hairdesser for a bit, but decided I would get fired for looking down shirts.

Oh, now you're going to get me into trouble. It's so hard to fight accusations of Marriage Despoiling with one hand strapped to my torso...

If those are the accusations against you, I would assume the marraige was overripe to begin with. I'm assuming that to be a work thing though as you are a bit more conservative/reserved than a number of the folks at church. Granted, Fionnabhar probably has you beat, but she says f-ck a lot. ::Grin::

I do not. I say it at either extraordinarily apt or wildly inappropriate times, which makes it seem as if I do. :-)

What's even more fun (shocking) is when it pops out of [livejournal.com profile] nodeal57's mouth at random moments...

I think I have heard him talk once, at a Friday night supper club with just the G-Ns and us. No random F's though. 8-)

That's true... of all the people I know that say f-ck a lot, yours is a special occasion event. Which is what makes it memorable. 8-)

I can't move furniture anymore, but I can braid... been teaching it to the scouts for years. 8-)

Glad I could help! It's nice to have some Karma that isn't Neopian in character.
