pleasantly bored
Dec. 27th, 2011 10:11 amI keep telling myself it's a welcome relief, being this bored at the office today. As it turns out, hardly anybody issues RFPs during the holidays on account of not wanting to *review* them until the new year. I'm still new enough here not to have a ton of PTO accrued for vacation days, but many many people I tend to work with do. The result? No work flowing my way. at. all.
Such problems I have, yes? The nifty thing is that I've got a couple of long-term projects I can fiddle with, up to a certain point, and the company has a liberal "work from home" telecommunity policy. Except for LJ. No access to LJ. (Apparently, DW hasn't yet been caught in the filters.)
Also, this means I'm not home with all the children. YAY. Poor Diermuid. I think they all want to go shopping today, to spend their Xmas gift cards. Yup, I'm just fine right here. :)
