Any of you who have known me for more than a year know that October tends to be month of illness for me (Pneumonia or serious bronchitis 4 out of 5 years running!). This year, partly because I'm responsible for many rituals and partly because I'm tired of getting sick, I launched a Have a Healthy October campaign for myself. Hey, it's propaganda, but it works.
That means I take my vitamins, try to get better sleep, pay attention to what I eat and all that. So far, it seems to be working. :knocking on wood right now:
The unfortunate side effect of this cosmic bargain is that the non-health-related parts of my life are on life support. I feel like was riding the chaos horse pretty well for a while; now, I'm bouncing along behind in the dust with my foot stuck in the stirrups...
But I promised myself that this LiveJournal thing wasn't going to be all Gloom & Doom. Because that sucks. And complaining all the time is for twits. So here are three good things:
