Any of you who have known me for more than a year know that October tends to be month of illness for me (Pneumonia or serious bronchitis 4 out of 5 years running!). This year, partly because I'm responsible for many rituals and partly because I'm tired of getting sick, I launched a Have a Healthy October campaign for myself. Hey, it's propaganda, but it works.
That means I take my vitamins, try to get better sleep, pay attention to what I eat and all that. So far, it seems to be working. :knocking on wood right now:
The unfortunate side effect of this cosmic bargain is that the non-health-related parts of my life are on life support. I feel like was riding the chaos horse pretty well for a while; now, I'm bouncing along behind in the dust with my foot stuck in the stirrups...
But I promised myself that this LiveJournal thing wasn't going to be all Gloom & Doom. Because that sucks. And complaining all the time is for twits. So here are three good things:
1. Taught a Divination for Public Ritual class yesterday. As usual, I figure I learned more as the teacher than the people attending did. But it reminded me why I love Seer's work so much, and for that I'm grateful.
2. My tits:ass ratio improving. It's not like I'm obsessing about weight or dieting or anything. I'm just glad to be getting a bit healthier by remembering to pay attention and not be stupid. Now, if I can only figure out how to find the time for some excersise...
3. We bought a bunch of bulbs to plant last week, and actually got some of them planted. :happy druid dance: It's great to get my hands dirty and start setting my prints to the grounds outside the house.
That's about it for now. Gonna try to learn how to use the "cut for length" function and perhaps edit this entry later today.
