Sleep deprivation is a special kind of hell.

Between my own dreams and restless children and the dog "saving" me from whatever certain death was lurking on the lawn, I don't think I got more than 45 minutes of sleep at a shot last night. Good thing I went to bed at 9 p.m. (thanks to the encouragement of agrnmn) -- at least I got more napping in. I'm a little slow, but generally in a good mood today.

This morning, Princess Sticky told me I was "talking like a grandma," which (appropriately) made me croak with laughter. Also, I have poured flavored instant coffee mix into my mug...and reconstituted it with coffee. Tastes pretty good. Maybe I'll have a second cup and enjoy the palpitations.

I do that too, I have some flavored latte powders from jettison angel. The instrutions say to add a teaspoon to a cup of boiling water. To hell I say, and use it like creamer. 8-)
