In which I exhibit good humour despite awkward moments.

Today, I embrace the spirit of not-perfect by sharing the following imperfections of my day thus far:

1. Managed to put on my underwear sideways. Twice. (I think they're on straight now.)
2. Forgot to put on deodorant (after a shower, so thank goodness for soap).
3. Scorched my bacon in the microwave. Don't ask me how - it's a superpower.

Not only am I laughing at these things, but the laughter is also improving my day, which started off pretty well by virtue of 8+ hours of sleep and a pleasant effing wake-up call from my husband.

The sun is shining through my skylight, and I bet the crows will be along at any moment to look down my shirt. Life ain't so bad.
