Only one round today, please.

I owe questions to three people who requested them yesterday, and I'll take care of them a bit later today. In the meantime, here are the answers for questions from
matchgirl42:
1)Do you have a favorite fetish?
I don't know that I have any particular fetish myself, and tend to be baffled by fetishes in general. My fetish vocabulary is stunningly small. There are certain things I enjoy more than others, but those elements aren't necessary for arousal or climax (which is sort of how I think a fetish works). See how naive I am?
2)What is your favorite book, like, of all time?
I think maybe I haven't read it yet, because I'm drawing a blank here.
3)If you lived in the Star Trek universe, who would you be, and what would your occupation be?
Oh, man. That universe is so big! How can I pick just one? I adore Lwaxana Troi -- even dressed up as her for a costume party once. It was just a couple of days before my eldest daughter was born, and the costume involved acres of taffeta (like, three different prom dresses all at once) and a bare belly. I don't know if I'm friendly enough to be an ambassador though; and being an empath brings a vulnerability I don't enjoy much. Maybe a Bajoran priest instead?
4)Pick your favorite kind of tree. Why is that your favorite?
I like birch trees, specifically river birch. The texture of the bark is lovely, and the sound of the wind in the smaller leaves is very pleasant. I like that they're a bit smaller and more flexible than most trees, that they grow quickly and in clusters. The one and only wand I have is made from a bit of birch.
5)What's your most favorite thing about being a mom? Your least favorite?
Today, I'd say my favorite thing is the hugs and kisses. When I got home from work last night, Princess Sticky wanted to be held...and I just carried her around with her head on my shoulder for a very long time. She'd lift her head every once in a while for a kiss. It's very touching, the way kids will wander off and do their own thing, but then have to swoop in for a hug and kiss every once in a while. Yeah, definitely the snuggle lovies. My least favorite? Right now, it's the repetition -- whether it's a joke they tell 87 million times in five minutes...or a question that gets asked over and over again.

Date: 2005-09-29 01:20 am (UTC)And the snuggle lovies? Those are the best, man! I don't have any kids of my own yet, but the ones I get to spoil...there are a few, goddessdaughter among them...nothing puts a big goofy grin on my face quicker than snuggle lovies! Hehe. And I am soooo copying that phrase. ;)
Not having met you in person, I can only judge by your online personality; But I would vote for one of these 3 Star Trek characters: From DS9, Kira Nerys,(as previously mentioned by
