Please tell me this isn't Monday all over again.

Having a tough time getting my groove on this morning. Last night, I fell asleep reading before agrnmn got home from class. Then, though I kept my ass in bed, I was too bored and lazy to actually get back to sleep for a while. Failed to awaken for my 7:30 a.m. meeting until...um, 7:32 a.m. Traffic, construction, and flashing red stoplights on SMP hampered egress from my neighborhood. Scurried into the building just after the meeting adjourned, only to realize that I wore the wrong pants today.

That's good and bad at the same time. Good, because it means I'm continuing to shed some inches (though I don't own a scale, so pounds aren't tracked as carefully) and I'm shrinking out of them. Bad, because it means I have to walk around with my thumb hooked through the belt loop so they don't slide off my ass. I wore pretty underwear today, but...well. You know.

I have a Nine Fires meeting at lunch today and wish I had time to shower first. Ugh.

She's spending the night with us and then flying out with Princess !Kaboom! tomorrow. This is her first trip to Poppy Camp and we're sort of basket cases about it. We'll see her in about two weeks. Until then, it's down to one child (Princess Sticky). It's gonna be weird, but mostly for agrnmn who gets to figure out some interim daily routines with the little one.

do you happen to know off-hand the style/name/whatever-it's-called-in-the-clothing-world of the jeans I borrowed from you that one time (some sub-brand of Victoria's Secret, I think)? I recall really liking them, and if I'm going to be on a clothes-buying spate I might as well get something I like. Such is my theory, anyway. Though if they aren't sold somewhere in town it'll have to wait.

I didn't buy them in town -- they came right out of the VS catalog. Though it's worth noting that these are the same pants falling off me right now. If your ass is reshaping itself with all the kunging of fu you're doing, I don't know if they'll fit you, either...

Actually, it wouldn't bother me if you'd simply like to take them to Pompeii (sort of a "traveling pants" thing) since it would make me get some that fit. They were clean when I put them on this morning, and we'll be home with mom tonight if you want to swing by for them (and your shot glasses).

Sounds like a mutually beneficial plan, as long as you don't mind me being fairly uncertain as to when I'll show up -- I've got kung fu til 7-ish, then over to E3HQ to drop a mailbox key w/K and potentially borrow jeans from her as well, then over to y'all's. So, sometime between 8 and 9.30? (probably toward the earlier part of that)

That sounds okay, though we're likely to be off to bed not long after 9:30 p.m. Princess Sticky's been going through a round of nightmares so nobody has slept very well the last few nights...
