So the opening of this song came on when I was driving home Tuesday night. I cannot resist the way the guitar and drums start up, and ended up driving around the block until the song finished. It's been on my brain ever since -- and seemed appropriate to the day. And now, I will get some actual work done before tinkering around any more.

I listened to it so much I had the cover on hand in art class once, and used it as my subject matter.

Somewhere in the world, there exists or existed a somewhat decently shaded version of DLR's nose and cheekbones, in pencil on paper.

Meh. You can have DLR; I'll take Sammy. I dig Sting, too, and I can't imagine vomiting or anything if his pants were accidently to fall off. Still, I wouldn't take him over Don Henley. What is it about those messianic, do-gooder types?
