For once, indulgence pays off!

In case any of you are fans of really amazing ice cream, I'm passing on some information about Cold Stone Creamery, whose newest KC-area store opens today at 6852 Johnson Drive (just east of Johnson & Metcalf, in the strip where Outback Steakhouse, Chipotle and Quizno's are located).

As part of their grand opening celebration, 50% of today's proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. So, if you're not the type to walk 60 miles to raise money for a good cause, you can at least sit on your butt and eat the best ice cream of your life. It's practically a moral imperative.

Everybody wins, right? Now . . . who's driving? (I think they'll still be open after the Marriage Amendment Forum.)

I was already thinking about becoming a "foreign agitator", as featherynscale put it, at tonight's Marriage Amendment Forum, and now you go and add ice cream *and* charity to the mix!?!
