No shooting things up at the Bullet Hole tonight. My man iron_clad has to work late, and it'd be unfaithful to go without him. Plus, the plague has banjaxed the first night I'd get to go to my very first Book Cabal ever. We'll have to find trouble fun someplace else.

On the plus side, I entertained many people on the commute to work with my car-boogie rendition of Scissor Sisters "Take Your Mama." It was a glorious thing. Need to go dancing soon.

P.S. I have a great deal of work to do on Nine Fires Press stuff this weekend. Is a local person perhaps available to babysit for a few hours on Saturday (for pay or barter) -- like, noon to 4 p.m. or so? Please do not divert resources from helping chaosdruid and niveus_tigris. I can put in some hours after the girls go to bed if necessary; just thought it might be wacky fun to work in *daylight* hours.

Bulletin to kittenpants: we need to talk. After last night's class, my paradigms hurt. :)

Most any kind of dancings, 'cept the kind where one sort of stands shoulder-to-shoulder in a crowd and bobs one's head. I hate that.

Unlike many club-goers, I don't wear fancy heels or overly snazzy clothing when I go dancing. I also won't drink alcohol (much). Nothing can be allowed to mess wit' Da Groove.

I say this with all sorts of arrogance, but can't really recall the last time I've "gone dancing." It's just not something most of my social circle does; and when they do, I can't get a babysitter.

I love dancing, and miss it terribly. Now that XO is closed, I don't know where to go to get my techno groove on. Perhaps this is something we could go do while my other thirds are gaming with your husband. You know, when we don't have too much NF stuff going on.

I think XO is reopen as Evolution now, and playing similar music. Or was it Evolution reopened as XO? All I know is that John wanted to take me dancing at some techno place back in Nov/Dec.

The building's been empty and unlabeled when we drove past in Jan/Feb, so if it was re-opened, it didn't last long. :/ Damnit!
