I'm trying to avoid doing a couple other things, so here goes. Saturday turned out pretty darn well. I'm so glad I remembered to ask for help with babysitting during Princess Boredom's gymnastics meet. Princess !Kaboom had a blast with

kcwitch and I really got to pay attention at the meet, where eldest daughter took first all-around in her age division. Thank you!

Got all the downstairs floors washed and the sheets on my bed changed (yay, flannel); got dishes done and more cocoa mix made; and was able to print off some more cards for Nine Fires. Later,

kittenpants called to "SQUEE!" and tell me of the boffo time they had at Enchanted Gifts, where she also received much sacred wisdom on the matter of margins and pricing and such.

Sunday brought a lot of work with windows --

agrnmn put up insulating film in the little ones' room upstairs while I did some picking up and changing of sheets. He then took Princess !Kaboom on a mission to get blinds for the master bedroom, where my frustration had crippled three out of four of the existing very old and malfunctioning blinds...and disintegrated the last one entirely. They are up and functioning nicely now. So, no more peep shows over here.

Got some bidness to take care of over the next couple of days, but I'm pretty excited about all of it:
Monday = gymnastics team pictures and ritual team peer reviews
Tuesday = Sunrise Solstice Breakfast and Wild Hare Protogrove Yule Ritual (through Gaia Community's adult ed class series)
Wednesday = meeting for New Year Ritual planning
Thursday = something, but I can't remember what
Friday = Xmas Eve dinner with
