saffronhareI really love Milky Way Midnight candy bars, especially the bite-size ones that freeze nicely. This is why I'm wearing the spacious velvet happy pants at work today. ::sigh:: Ah, indulgence. Why not excess?
My office is now decorated with a lot of holiday stuff in high-qualityfake faux evergreen, white lights, glittery fruit-like items and purple ribbons. I find that, in unguarded moments, I think it's pretty -- but then I remember that I'm scornful of such corporate finery.
Even though I'm apparently spending a lot of time on LJ and online generally, I'm getting more done at work than usual...and a lot more at home, too. When I'm in high gear, I'm in high gear all over the place. Amazing the amount of energy and productivity one enjoys with just a few consecutive nights of decent sleep.
